1° development strategies for the Commune of Garoua-Boulai and their implementation;

2° the budget of the Commune of Garoua-Boulai and its execution;

3° the Garoua-Boulai Commune action plan and its implementation;

4° infrastructures and urbanization of the Garoua-Boulai Commune;

5° the land use and urban development master plan, the local land use plan, the specific land use plan and the subdivision plan for the Commune of Garoua-Boulai in accordance with the relevant laws;

6° funds to be invested in enterprises or companies in which the Commune of Garoua-Boulai intends to hold shares in accordance with the relevant laws;

7° transport of people and goods in the Commune of Garoua-Boulai;

8° the draft organization chart for the Commune of Garoua-Boulai, salaries and other staff benefits determined by order of the Prime Minister;

9° an increase in the gross salary of staff in line with the resources of the Commune of Garoua-Boulai;

10° taxes collected in the Commune of Garoua-Boulai in accordance with the law;

11° cooperation and partnership with other national and international organizations;

12° management of the assets of the Commune of Garoua-Boulai ;

13° the loans that the Commune of Garoua-Boulai may contract and their terms of repayment in accordance with the law;

14° activities related to social welfare and economic development;

15° the acquisition, sale or donation of private property of the Commune of Garoua-Boulai in accordance with the relevant laws;

16° monitoring and supervising the activities of the Municipal Executive Committee of the Commune of Garoua-Boulai and those of the Secretary General;
